On the 28 and 29th of June, the RECAP Project was featured at Net Futures 2017. The conference was attended by over 1,000 visitors and participants from a range of companies, organisations and communities involved in Research & Innovation Market Validation, Living Lab Research Business Development, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Strategy Policy Making. Over the two days, a wide range of topics were discussed and insights presented to reflect current and future trends and issues: the industrial internet, free flow of data in Europe, the next generation internet, data protection issues and mobile connectivity.
RECAP project was presented at the “One Minute Madness” pitch by Lutz Schubert from Ulm University who described project’s vision and motivations for developing a novel concept in the provision of cloud services via self-configurable cloud system computing:

The project has recently joined two clusters and participated in two cluster meetings co-located with Net Futures 2017 and the CloudWatch Concertation meeting: Inter-cloud Challenges, Expectations and Issues and Novel approaches and technologies for Cloud resource and service management. Both clusters are intended to collaborate on approaches of future adoption of Cloud-based applications from the fields of Internet-of-Things and Big Data and the current research and innovation challenges in cloud computing. This cooperation will benefit all stakeholders in form of expertise and skills exchange.
