The penultimate meeting of the RECAP project took place on October 2-3 in Madrid, Spain. SATEC hosted the consortium for two days of presentations and discussions.

With only three months to go, nearly all the technical outputs have been developed and this meeting focused on validation of the RECAP components. This is not an insignificant challenge with four use cases. Largely speaking, the main focus is validating the that technical components operate correctly but also generate value to the use case partners – BT, SATEC, Linknovate and Tieto. RECAP helps cloud service providers and telecommunications network operators make critical decisions on application and infrastructure optimisation and as a result maintain and increase Quality of Service, reduce costs, increase revenues and innovate.
